I'm Megan Sanders, the licensed esthetician behind Sol Skin. I grew up here on the Central Coast, and skincare has been my passion for as long as I can remember: understanding what skin needs, and helping people feel confident in their own. Sol Skin is a space for glowing skin and a little time just for you.
My studio is small on purpose. It is just you and me, and I listen first. You get a plan that fits your skin, your life and your budget, with no pressure to buy anything. If this is your first facial, your first wax, or your first time looking for someone you trust in a new town, you are in the right place.

Before you come in
A few simple policies keep the schedule fair for everyone, and a little prep helps you get the most from your visit.
Deposits
A 20% deposit holds your appointment and goes toward your service.
Cancellations
Please give 24 hours notice to cancel or move your appointment. Inside 24 hours, the deposit is not refunded.
Running late
More than 10 minutes late and your service may be shortened or rescheduled so the next client starts on time.
Before a facial
Pause retinoids and exfoliating acids for 3 days. Tell Megan about any new medications or skin treatments.
Before a wax
Let hair grow to about a quarter inch, roughly two to three weeks. Skip lotion and the gym right before.
Before a lash lift
Arrive with clean lashes, no mascara, and keep them dry for 24 hours afterward.

Where is Sol Skin SLO located?
Sol Skin SLO is in Suite 12 inside Sola Salons at 3860 Broad St, in the Marigold Center in San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Parking is in the Marigold Center lot.
How much is a facial at Sol Skin SLO?
A 60-minute Custom Facial is $120, a 90-minute Custom Facial is $180, and the 90-minute Hydrodiamond Facial is $200. Add-ons run $25 to $40.
I have never had a facial or a wax. Is that okay?
Yes. First facials and first waxes are welcome at Sol Skin SLO. Megan explains each step before she starts, checks in as she goes, and answers any question you have.
What should I book for my first visit?
Book the 60-minute Custom Facial. Megan looks at your skin, treats what it needs that day, and helps you plan what comes next.
How much is a Brazilian wax in San Luis Obispo?
A Brazilian wax at Sol Skin SLO is $65 and a bikini wax is $40. Brow waxing is $30, and lip or chin is $15.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Sol Skin SLO is a private, one-on-one studio and sees clients by appointment. You can book online any time.
